Dear Friends,
I would like to share an update on the progress and current needs of the students you support through our 501(c)(3) charity, Villagetocollege.

Our 10 high school students returned home this weekend for a one-month break before beginning the final term of the academic year. We are delighted to report that all of them performed exceptionally well. Two seniors, Michael and Angeline, ranked among the top 2% of students in their respective classes, a remarkable achievement that reflects their hard work and determination, and the impact of your generosity and support.

We have also secured full semester funding for our college senior, Angela, ensuring that she can continue her studies without interruption as she prepares to graduate this December.

However, significant challenges remain for two other college students:
Purity, a Junior studying Veterinary Sciences, is still at home because we have not yet raised the $1,500 needed to cover her tuition for this semester.
Flo, who was scheduled to begin law school, remains at home two weeks after classes started because she lacks the $2,000 required for tuition and enrollment.

Looking ahead, high schools will reopen on September 14, and we are currently facing a $4,000 tuition shortfall for our 10 high school students.
While we celebrate these outstanding academic achievements, financial barriers continue to threaten the educational opportunities these young people have worked so hard to earn.

Behind every tuition bill is a student striving for a better future, a family hoping to break the cycle of poverty, and a community that benefits when young people are empowered through education.
Every day a student remains at home is a day of lost learning and missed opportunity.

$1,500 for Purity to return to college this semester.
